I had a custom street legal golf car built in 2011. Very sharp looking golf car, but very heavy. It weighs about 1100 pounds. It came with six 6 volt lead batteries 36 volt system, that didn’t give me more than a 10 to 12 mile range. We added two more 6 volt batteries to make the cart a 48 volt system. That did not make a big difference. I got 12 to 15 miles range and I would just barely get back home to plug it back in. I agreed to try that system and had the system installed In my street legal golf car. That resulted in a huge difference in both distance range and the performance of my golf car. The car’s performance with 4 people on board (I’m no light weight) pulled up the hills with far greater performance than the lead batteries. The mileage range went from 12 to 15 miles with lead batteries, to between 48 to 54 mile range with the lithium batteries on a single battery charge. I am very delighted with the Lithium Boost System. It has completely solved my problem. The Villages here in Florida covers a vast area (about forty square miles) and now I can take my golf car out for a long ride and know I will make it back home with no problems. I recommend anyone who wants superior performance and long driving range to install this system in their golf car.
