FORE-PAR GROUP SIGNS EXCLUSIVE DEAL WITH ATOGLASFOR NEW GCW PLEXIGLAS
Fore-Par Group is pleased to announce the first major improvement in golf car windshields since it introduced modified impact windshields (via the Blue Dot brand) more than 10 years ago. The new windshield material is the thickest modified impact material in the market and has improved chemical resistance, more rigidity and superior optical clarity when compared to other products.
Fore-Par Group worked with Atoglas, a world leader in acrylic sheet and resin manufacturing. "The Plexiglas product is harder to scratch than the competition," said Scott Mallory, president of Fore-Par Group. "Dealers and their customer will appreciate a product that will withstand more cleanings without looking worn. While thickness and hardness play a major role in the performance of a windshield, Atoglas has balanced all the important properties and achieved a superior product."
With Fore-Par's track record, if the product does as well as anticipated, we should see the OEM's moving in this direction as well, similar to what occurred with the Advanced DC motor and Hole in One tire which are now preferred by the OEM's and dealers alike.
