Club Car Introduces Carryall 294 4x4

Versatile Utility Vehicle Features Industry’s First
Fully Automatic On-Demand Four-Wheel Drive System

Club Car’s new Carryall 294 four-wheel drive utility vehicle provides golf course superintendents a superior combination of durability, capacity and comfort in a versatile and easy-to-use mid-duty vehicle.

Club Car’s entry in the four-wheel drive category, the Carryall 294 is equipped with the industry’s first fully automatic, on-demand four-wheel drive system. The IntelliTrak™ 4x4 System continually senses driving conditions and automatically engages and disengages four-wheel drive without the driver having to stop and shift gears or lock differentials. The fully mechanical (no computers or electronic sensors) system also eliminates steering feedback and reduces tire wear and turf damage.

The vehicle also differs from others in its class by a rustproof and corrosion-resistant tubular aluminum frame, chassis and cargo bed floor, adding to the vehicle’s strength and durability.

The Carryall 294 has two bed-load capacity options (800-pound standard / 1,100-pound optional) and a 1,200- or 1,500-pound total vehicle capacity. With its all-terrain front and rear tires, the 294 is well equipped to pull top dressers, sprayers and other turf maintenance equipment.

Carryall 294 has a commanding presence anywhere on the course with its 81-inch wheelbase and 11.1-inch ground clearance. Standard features such as tilt steering, adjustable driver’s-side bucket seat and retractable seat belts also make it comfortable to drive.

In either its 20-horsepower gasoline (Honda V-twin industrial grade) or diesel (Kubota 3-cylinder industrial grade) version, the Carryall 294 has a top speed of 25 mph.

“The 294 sets a new standard in four-by-four performance and versatility,” said Mike Packer, Club Car’s vice president of Utility and International Sales. “It offers superintendents the power, speed and capacity to address a wide range of jobs around the course and to do it in style.”

The Carryall 294, which carries a two-year limited warranty, begins shipping in April. The gas model is priced at $8,999 and the diesel at $10,300. Carryall 294 is the latest addition to Club Car’s Carryall Turf line of durable and reliable performance utility vehicles that includes the Turf 1, Turf 2, Turf 6 and Turf 272 models.
