San Clemente Golf Cars, of San Clemente, California, will be exhibiting their innovative SCGT model at the 2008 New York International Auto Show. The SCGT, which strongly resembles the famous Shelby Cobra automobile, can go up to 25 mph and is NHTSA approved as a Low Speed Vehicle (LSV).
The SCGT features 4 wheel hydraulic disc brakes with twin piston master cylinder and

Other features include: 48-volt system, D&D motor or GE motor, Jake’s lift kit, removable bucket seats, genuine wood grain dash, 10” chrome or aluminum wheels, carpeting, speedometer, head lights, taillights, brake lights and turn signals, and one extra 12-volt battery for the linear actuator. The SCGT is SAE approved and comes with a 17 digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Standard colors include Red, Yellow or Blue. Any automotive color is optional.
The New York International Auto Show is open to the press on March 19th and 20th and is open to the general public from March 21 thru the 30th. The Show is held at the Jacob Javits Center, which is between 34th and 39th Street off of 11th Avenue in Manhattan.
“New York is proud to be officially recognized among the great international auto shows in cities such as Frankfurt, Tokyo, Paris, Geneva, and Detroit,” said Mark Schienberg, president of the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association, the organization that owns and operates the New York International Auto Show.
