e-z-go® introduces new turf utility vehicles:
‘ mpt’™ offered in gasoline and electric models

E -Z-GO Textron announced production of a new line of turf utility trucks: the E-Z-GO MPT (Multi-Purpose Truck). Designed for use at golf courses, parks, stadiums, university campuses, and for other grounds maintenance applications, the MPT product line includes four models: MPT 1200: Gasoline, 1,200 lb capacity; MPT 1000: 48v Electric, 1,000 lb capacity; MPT 800G: Gasoline, 800 lb. capacity; MPT 800E: 36v Electric, 800 lb. capacity.
  The MPT offers a rugged truck-like front cowl, redesigned and strengthened frame, a widened front axle and E-Z-GO’s new E-Shield corrosion protection process. Special product features include a durable, rotomolded Crosslink Polyethylene cargo bed on the MPT 1200 and 1000. Other advanced technology, feature upgrades and options such as Hydraulic Front Brakes are available on the MPT.

“ E-Shield protects our frames from the inside out: we use sealed
steel frame tubing with an Epoxy primer that is then covered
by a Triglycidyl Isocyanurate resin (TGIC) as the final layer.”
  Featuring an 11hp, 4 cycle, 350cc twin cylinder engine, the MPT 1200 has a top speed of 13.5 mph, an automatic, continuously variable transmission (CVT) and a capacity of 1,200 pounds.
  The electric MPT 1000 features a true 48-volt powertrain with eight 6-volt batteries for applications that require quiet operation, a 1,000-pound capacity and E-Z-GO’s Precision Drive System with regenerative braking, anti-rollaway protection and computer controlled diagnostics.
  In addition, both the MPT 1200 and MPT 1000 feature a Rotomolded Crosslink Polyethylene cargo bed with a three position, removable tailgate.
  Standard features of the MPT 800G include a 9 hp, 295 cc, twin cylinder engine and an 800 pound capacity. The electric MPT 800E has 36-volt powertrain and an 800 pound capacity. Both feature the E-Shield process and a metal cargo bed with heavy-duty bed liner.
  Available options include: Hydraulic Front Brakes, headlights, taillights, brakelights, cowl brush guard/bumper, locking glove boxes, sun canopy, windshield and much more.
