Mark's golf cars designs two golf cars for hulk hogan!

On December 12, 2005, Mark Thomas, owner of Mark's Golf Cars LLC, with locations in Chesapeake, Virginia and Lake Gaston, North Carolina, arrived at the home of legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan. About eight months earlier, after checking out Mark's Golf Cars website www.marxcarts.com, Hulk Hogan contacted Mark Thomas to inquire about a custom golf car for his wife Linda. Hogan was very impressed with the golf car Mark Thomas did for Paul Tuttle Sr. (called simply Paul Sr.) from the hit show Orange County Choppers on the Discovery Channel.

Hogan originally wanted to be on the conservative side and order a traditional custom 6-passenger golf car. But Mark Thomas persuaded him to order two cars, one for his wife Linda, and one to serve as the Hulkamania golf car. The Hulkamania golf car befits Hogan, a real American icon, and somewhat resembles his Dodge Viper automobile.

Mark Thomas had to receive special permission and artwork from the World Wrestling Federation before building the cars. After the producers of Hogan's new hit show, "Hogan Knows Best" on VH1, heard of the golf cars they decided to make them part of the show to be aired this spring. When the golf cars were ready, Mark Thomas and his wife Connie, and their two sons Jimmie and Landon, arrived on location of the show to deliver the two custom Yamaha gas golf cars. Both golf cars had custom paint and upholstery, overhead stereo consoles, flip seats, custom dashes, neon lights and 7" lifts.

This is not the first time that Mark's Golf Cars has been involved in supplying cars for a film production. Last year one of Mark's Golf Cars custom 6-passenger models was used in a TV pilot in Hollywood. Currently Mark Thomas is working on a custom golf car for famed daredevil Robby Knievel.
