LEEWOOD INC.'S INTRODUCTION OF THEIR CITY CAR GENERATES EXCITEMENT AMONG DEALERS

  Leewood Incorporated's recent introduction of their uniquely designed Citycar golf car/NEV has already generated a great deal of excitement among golf car dealers.
  The Citycar is a combination of American muscle, European engineering and Japanese versatility. Leewood Incorporated calls the Citycar the best designed, engineered and safest golf car in the world. It is not a kit car and is designed and engineered from the ground up. In many ways the Citycar is more like an automobile than a golf car or NEV since it has so many automotive style features. These include sound- proofing, water-proofing, an instrument panel that features a blinking turn signal, an automotive-style laminated safety glass all-around enclosure, automotive-style windshield wiper, a door lock with a key, insulated safety cabin, a hydraulic door that opens with the push of a button (there's even a small window in the door), an opening front windshield, and a quiet and smooth responsive ride.
  Other key features of the Citycar are: a 48-volt, high efficiency GE 4.3 hp motor, (6) 8-volt deep-cycle batteries, regenerative braking, independent strut suspension with coil spring and hydraulic shock absorbers, thermoplastic polyolefin body with unibody construction and laser welded steel frame. The continuous torque Citycar will go 24 mph with a range of 40 miles per charge.
  The Citycar can also be ordered in a gasoline version which has a 357-cc, 11.4 hp overhead valve engine.
The Citycar is available in a wide range of colors which include: metallic red, metallic blue, burgundy, ivory and hunter green.
In September, Leewood Incorporated will introduce a 4-passenger Citycar. The four-passenger model will feature (8) 6-volt batteries and will have a 50 mile range per charge.
