BUENA PARK, CA (January 19, 2024) — Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. (YMUS) and Yamaha Golf-Car Company (YGC) have presented Yamaha Corporation of America (YCA) with two new Golf Cars to help celebrate the groundbreaking at YCA’s Buena Park Corporate Headquarters. On hand for the presentation was YCA President Tom Sumner as well as Kris Paquin, Vice President of Operations. Representing YMUS was President and CEO Mike Chrzanowski and Kim Ruiz, Senior Vice President of Corporate Planning and Solutions Unit.
One of the new golf cars being provided is a Concierge 4, a four-passenger vehicle that will be utilized by YCA’s security team for use throughout their new facility. The second unit is a UMAX 2, which is equipped with a substantial cargo bed and will be utilized by YCA’s building engineer team. YGC is confident that these vehicles will serve as reliable and comfortable modes of transportation for years to come. Both vehicles were also customized to feature the Yamaha Music-specific logo and tuning fork for additional branding.
Both YMUS and YCA used to be located at the Buena Park facility 50 years ago but separated in 1980 as both unique businesses expanded. Yamaha Corporation of America expects completion of their new corporate offices in late 2024. For more information about Yamaha Golf-Car Company, please visit www.yamahagolfcar.com.
