Introducing The New Cushman® Hauler® 800 And Hauler 800X Utility Vehicles

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. announces the addition of new Cushman Hauler 800 and 800X models to its line of utility vehicles. Both models feature the increased functionality for which the Hauler line has become known, with a truck-inspired design, spacious dash, customizable bed, and affordable accessories.

“Hauler vehicles were developed using superintendent feedback that highlighted the need for increased versatility in their utility vehicles.” said Michael R. Parkhurst, Vice President, Golf for Textron Specialized Vehicles, which designs and manufactures Cushman vehicles. “Adding the new Hauler 800 and 800X to our product lineup enables us to deliver a diverse line of vehicles that can be used for a variety of tasks – exactly what the superintendent and his crew require.”

The new Hauler 800 and 800X offer a durable, sound-dampening, 8.4-cubic-foot cargo bed which incorporates integrated divider slots to allow for increased organization and customizable storage. Newly available options complement an existing range of Hauler accessories tailored for superintendents, including:

  • A floor-mount attachment that enables users to transport and secure small equipment such as a spreader in the passenger area of the vehicle;
  • Interior tool hooks to securely carry moisture meters and other valuable tools;
  • An independent radio clip that has been ergonomically designed for easy reach within the vehicle.

The Hauler 800 and 800X models are also equipped with a spacious, highly functional dash that places vehicle controls within easy reach.

Both the Hauler 800 and Hauler 800X are available in electric- or -gas-powered models. The electric models feature a 48-volt AC powertrain that delivers unparalleled energy efficiency. Gas models are powered by a reliable 13.5 hp Kawasaki® gas engine which generates superior torque for hill climbing while providing competitive fuel economy and performance.

The Hauler 800X features a standard lifted suspension to provide improved performance on more rugged terrain. Superintendents can schedule a demonstration at HaulerDemo.com. For more information, visit www.textron.com.
