Mackin has confirmed arrival as of Jan 2018. This latest series features a traditional mesh center with a ‘V’ Spoke window. A wide front-face lip borrowed from the former P-SERIES complements this V-Design element. Overall design enhancements include a stream-lined center cap, deep lug pockets an upgraded emblem. All help contribute to a fresh new look. Available finishes include (Black & Silver Machine, the NEW Bronze Color-Clear & Gunmetal Color-Clear) and premium Chrome finish.
As an added bonus, Mackin is also proud to be the first KENDA Authorized Distributor to introduce Kenda’s NEW line-up of 12 & 14 inch S.B.R. (Steel Belted Radial) tires. Given this simultaneous introduction of both the V-Series and the KENDA S.B.R. tire line-ups, Mackin will be poised to offer out-of-the-gate both the V-12 and J-SERIES (J-14) Rim and S.B.R. Tire assemblies. In all, there will be a total of eleven combined selections that can be mounted on either of two KENDA S.B.R tires. These latest S.B.R. fitments are designed exclusively for all LSV / PTV / UTILITY and GOLF CAR vehicle platforms and are street legal and approved for highway service, ideal for Retirement Communities nationwide.
According to Rick Bailey, WMG Program director at Mackin, the New dynamic S.B.R. tire package will be rolled out Q1 of 2018. He coins this as the Ultimate S.B.R. Packageand affirms the overall performance enhancements to include both improved tire rolling for extended range and decreased tire wear characteristics due to the tires and compound as compared against the standard Bias-Ply tires of the industry. Rick claims that according to Kenda this combination of … a new directional tread design, steel belt construction, and proprietary tire compound all work together to enhance steer and maneuver capability whereby contributing to a vast overall improvement to the driver characteristics of golf car and LSV platforms alike.
