The Yamaha® G Series golf car introduced in the mid ‘80s is very popular at golf courses, golf car communities and RV parks. The G Series also features the engine directly under the driver’s seat. When idling, some drivers have noticed that the seat warms, especially when outside temps are already high.

The shield reduces direct and radiant heat and suppresses sound and vibration for a cooler and quieter car ride experience. Installation requires only basic hand tools and does not require the muffler to be removed. The shield is available for the Yamaha G29 for 2007–2014 models with part # 010385. Part # 010386 is designed to fit the 2015-2016 Yamaha G29 golf car, or any model using the JW8-E4710-01-00 muffler.
