Powered by a quiet and efficient 12 Volt motor, using minimal battery consumption, the overhead system operates using a high-velocity blower with directional vents that projects a cool stream of air onto both passengers in the golf car.
The system uses a high-speed fan to move air across a cooling pad (filter) kept wet by a submersible water pump. As the water evaporates, the air cools. This technology works best in low humidity conditions and during periods of high humidity, adding ice to the water reservoir is recommended.
